 1)     SME 500 Singapore Award 2022

The Singapore SME 500 Award is significant for our business as it affirms our business standards, qualities and performance. It is also one of Singapore's highly regarded business accolades that recognizes local enterprises for its business qualities, excellence and capabilities. The assessment is conducted by the Association of Trade & Commerce (Singapore) and part of the process includes evaluating enterprises in its quantitative and qualitative aspects, including the ability to further develop the business and scale its market.

2)     Dun & Bradstreet Business Eminence Award 2022

The D&B Singapore Business Eminence Award honors industry achievers both locally and abroad for outstanding performance and business excellence. The primary focus of the award is on enterprise growth and profitability, with D&B applying its proprietary financial model with several parameters to measure business performance. The award winners of the D&B Business Eminence Awards 2022 will be published in a featured article in the Business Times on 18th October 2022.

Both of the awards are a testimony to our financial performance and growth backed with strong support from our clients and also supply partners since our inception in 2015. We are very humbled by these awards and achievements. RMS Singapore has been a growing force in the marine industry over the last 7 years and today with both awards, it also reaffirms and cement our position as a leading Singaporean company amongst many other giants. RMS Singapore does not only take pride in our growth as a company on the financials, but also on corporate responsibilities, we are also working closely with many charities and also plays an active role in the yellow ribbon projects – giving ex-offenders many employment opportunities in our organization. Today, most of our ex-offenders are settling very well back to the society and in fact some are already playing key roles in our organization.

Apart from this, we are also proud to work very closely with local tertiary institutions such as our Institute of technical Education (ITE) and Polytechnics to continue developing talents in our marine industry. RMS Singapore has also in the 2nd year running, sponsored 5 students of their diplomas in full via the work and study schemes with our ITE. They are our future talents and we look forward to their developments. On another note, also in my personal capacity, RMS SG has been invited to sit on the board of Nanyang Polytechnic’s supply chain management industry panel for 5 years to provide industry advice and also to validate that Singapore’s tertiary education stays relevant to the everchanging business landscape (Other notable names on the board includes PSA, FedEx Express and 3M Singapore).

All in all, RMS Singapore has transformed into a leading organization in Singapore with the strong support from all of our business partners and RMS staff.
