RMS has recently been officially recognized as a Strategic Partner by Hikvision, further strengthening the collaboration between the two companies in the maritime sector.

Through this partnership, RMS will distribute Hikvision's full portfolio of products while working closely with Hikvision to advance the application and innovation of intelligent maritime security solutions tailored to the unique requirements of the shipping industry.

The collaboration will focus on a range of smart shipboard technologies, including fire detection and early warning, thermal monitoring and overtemperature alerts for critical equipment, AI-powered vessel situational awareness based on video analytics, as well as ship-to-shore data connectivity and remote fleet management. Together, these solutions aim to help shipowners and ship management companies enhance risk prevention, improve operational visibility, and increase fleet management efficiency.

Over the years, the RMS Technical Services Division has accumulated extensive project experience in shipboard CCTV systems through continuous involvement in commercial shipping and offshore applications. Leveraging a deep understanding of onboard operating environments and maritime requirements, RMS has developed mature CCTV solutions specifically designed for the maritime industry.

These systems have been successfully deployed across a wide range of merchant vessels and offshore projects, supporting more than 100 newbuilding and retrofit projects annually with reliable onboard video surveillance and security solutions.

Today, the RMS Technical Services Division comprises a team of more than 200 professionals, with over half serving as specialized engineers. The division provides comprehensive technical expertise across key marine disciplines, including marine diesel engines, ship automation, hydraulic systems, refrigeration systems, and onboard CCTV solutions. To support rapid service response, RMS also operates a standardized spare parts warehouse exceeding 5,000 m², maintaining extensive inventories of commonly used marine spare parts to ensure efficient supply and reliable service delivery.
