Recently, RMS Korea has expanded its warehouse facilities, while RMS Shanghai Warehouse has completed its smart upgrade. Through enhanced storage capacity and the application of smart warehousing technologies, RMS continues to improve warehouse operational efficiency, supply responsiveness, and global maritime supply service capabilities.
These initiatives demonstrate RMS’s continued investment in infrastructure development and digital operations, further strengthening its global maritime supply support network.
RMS Korea Warehouse Expansion Enhances Regional Supply Support Capabilities
To further strengthen regional service capabilities, RMS Korea (ACE-RMS) has expanded its warehousing infrastructure with the addition of a new warehouse facility of approximately 1,500 m², including bonded storage areas. The expansion increases the total warehouse capacity to 4,500 m², with total bonded storage capacity reaching approximately 2,000 m².
Combined with the expertise of the local team and a well-established supply chain network, the expanded facilities will further enhance inventory capacity, order response efficiency, and regional supply support capabilities.
The warehouse expansion will provide stronger support for newbuilding projects and vessel operations, delivering more stable and efficient supply solutions to customers in Korea.
RMS Shanghai Warehouse Upgrade Drives Digitalized Operations
RMS Shanghai Warehouse has recently completed its smart upgrade by introducing advanced warehousing solutions, including Modular Vertical Lift Module (VLM) and optimized storage systems, further enhancing global maritime supply capabilities.
Through high-density storage, digital inventory management, scan-to-pickup operations, and real-time data synchronization, the upgraded system improves warehouse space utilization, inventory accuracy, and order processing efficiency.
From small-item storage to pallet handling, every enhancement is designed to build a more efficient and flexible supply chain support system, providing reliable and timely services for vessels worldwide.
From the expansion of RMS Singapore’s warehouse capacity in March this year, to the Korea warehouse expansion and Shanghai smart warehouse upgrade, RMS continues to strengthen its global warehousing network.
With more than 80,000 m² of warehouse space worldwide, RMS leverages digitalization, infrastructure investment, and operational optimization to continuously enhance supply chain responsiveness and service capabilities, providing customers with more efficient and reliable integrated maritime supply and service solutions.
